Bethany has been working as a peripatetic singing, piano and theory teacher since graduating from university. This is a particularly enjoyable part of Bethany’s life which she has been lucky enough to expand on with the help of the BBC PAF Fellowship. Bethany teaches in both York and London. To find out more use the contact page to speak with her directly. Alongside private pupils, Bethany frequently coaches Lieder and german pronunciation through her experience of studying and working in Germany.

This past year has seen Bethany’s first performance as a conductor and director of the Minster Minstrels Vocal Ensemble (MMVE). The Minster Minstrels are an early music ensemble for young players based in York directed by Heather Moger and the MMVE is the choral counterpart. Together they performed a programme of Praetorius and Buxtehude in the 2013 York Early Music Christmas Festival

In 2014 Bethany began a new educational project with nursery groups. Through January and February she has been taking weekly session in two York nurseries, creating singing and instrumental experiences for children aged 0-3.
